SOME OF THE MAJOR PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED
Watershed Management programme
The project was supported by CARITAS INDIA for water conservation and tree plantation. Roof Water Harvest programme was undertaken by the construction of underground tanks in villages.
Empowerment Programme for women
we have a registered Federation of Women in the District in which around 4000 women are enrolled). They are given training on Formation of SHGs, Leadership skills, Accounting & book keeping, Panchayati Raj, Personality development, Skill development trainings and various other training according to the need of the time.
Empowerment programme for children
children are formed in various study group and they are promoted for higher education. Scholarship is given to those children who are economically weak but intellectually sound. Various training programmes are conducted to groom their personality.
Continuous Rehabilitation Progrmme
CARITAS supported progamme, that has helped to construct 3264 Houses in 14 villages, sanitation units 3066, Schools 6 with 36 rooms, community halls in 13 villages , Panchayat offices in 5 villages, 26 overhead and ground level water tanks in 14 villages.
Income Generation Progrmmes
It is a CRS & CARITAS India supported programme to empower the SHG women economically.
Projects from NABARD
NABARD supported us to have TOT, Capacity building, managerial trainings etc.
Housing Projects
HABITAT INDIA supports this programme to construct around 500 houses
Life Insurance Scheme.
This is with the linkages of TATA Aig, to give life insurance to the women of the federation
